Head of IT Service Management (ITSM) & Information Security (m/f/d)

Intro
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of IT Service Management (ITSM) & Information Security to lead our IT service delivery and ensure the robust security of our information processes. This critical role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our ITSM framework, as well as safeguarding our data and systems against evolving threats. You will be a strategic leader, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Your Mission
IT Service Management (ITSM):
Develop, implement, and maintain an ITIL-aligned ITSM framework
Build and lead the incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT service delivery
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency
Manage global vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs)
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
Information Security:
Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify security gaps
Manage security incidents and investigations, ensuring timely resolution
Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
Conduct security awareness training for employees
Lead security audits
Oversee the management of data backups and disaster recovery plans
Stay up to date on the latest threat vectors, and mitigation strategies
Your Profile
Proven experience in a leadership role in ITSM and/or Information Security role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL Expert/Master, or equivalent are highly desired
Experience with Apple infrastructure and Google Workspace
Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
Extensive experience with information security principles and practices
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP) is a plus
Proficiency in English as well as in German. We are an international team, but you also have to deal with German service providers and authorities
