About the role:

We are currently looking for an IT Operation & Data processing Engineer to join our team based in BYD France Office, Courbevoie. The role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure of the BYD France business and providing and maintaining system support services & administration for the groups computer infrastructure and various software & systems.

Main responsibilities:

IT Operations Tasks

  • Cooperating with the HQ IT team to carry out the planning, implementation, upgrading, optimization and transformation of the IT network/server/infrastructure/security.
  • Efficiently and effectively responding to requests for IT support and providing solutions by cooperating with the HQ IT team.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system and network problems, software faults or hardware complications, including but not limit to routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
  • Respond to technical support calls from other staff members or clients and communicate how to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks and applications.
  • Continuously monitor and maintain systems and networks, promptly detect and resolve network failures.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications.
  • Preparing computers/laptops and other IT equipment for employees, and managing computers and other IT office equipment.
  • Management of the IT inventory, including hardware items as well as software licenses and warranties.
  • Keep a record of issues, maintain user guides and with solutions, to refer back to in future instances.
  • Other related activities and contingent assignments.

Data processing

  • Responsible for crawling, cleaning and categorizing website data, using database to create website charts, etc.
  • Cooperate with operation and development to build the company's website data board, responsible for monitoring website user access data, including regional access, traffic fluctuation, conversion rate, etc.; provide daily data support for operation.
  • Help business departments with code for data processing optimization.

Qualification and requirements:

  • Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science or IT-related majors.
  • Preferably 2~3years of IT/network-related work experience.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Independent problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to quickly locate and solve network problems
  • Familiar with TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, protocols, routing and switching technologies, and VPN technology
  • Priority will be given to those with overseas network operation and maintenance experience, with certifications such as CCIE, HCIE, H3CIE, CISP, CISSP, PMP, Cisco CCNA, Comptia A++ or ITIL certifications.
  • Familiar with MySQL, MongoDB and other databases, and understand the commonly used SQL optimization techniques; familiar with all kinds of cache design.
  • Proficient in Python: master common libraries such as Numpy,Pandas, Matplotlib, and perform data cleaning, feature engineering and data analysis;
  • Ability to fetch external data such as crawlers : JavaScript / HTML / CSS, Requests.
  • Will have basic data visualization skills and be able to write data reports.
  • Passionate about internet industry, experience in data operation and data analysis is preferred.
