About the team

The Mobile Security team is part of the Information Security area. The team focuses on proactive hunting for and mitigating potential security threats on Nubank apps to protect our customers' financial assets and data. For that, we perform many tasks such as embedding and developing security controls on the apps, supporting mobile engineers during the software development lifecycle and ethical hacking tests focused on the apps.

About the role

This role focuses on enhancing the security of our mobile apps through the implementation of monitoring and control mechanisms, as well as contributing to the definition of security best practices within our app. The daily work will be heavily focused on supporting the current team on developing these initiatives.

Must Have

  • Experience with mobile app development (Kotlin, Swift or Flutter);
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles, and architectural patterns;
  • Experience with version control systems (GIT);
  • Troubleshooting and profiling;
  • Experience with unit, integration and end-to-end tests;
  • Open to innovation and learning new technologies and tech stacks;
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Security Best Practices;
  • Experience with CI/CD;
  • Experience with scripts development for automation (Python, Go or Ruby);
  • Experience with security analysis (manual and/or automated scans);
  • Experience with Security or Fraud teams and/or products;
  • Experience in the finance industry.
