Position Overview:
We are seeking a self-motivated and customer-focused SIEM/Data Mesh Service Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent reporting and analytic skills, be proficient at coding reports, dashboards, and possess a strong aptitude for customer service, using data to tell a compelling story. If you are passionate about cybersecurity, excel in a client-centric environment, and are familiar with SaaS migrations, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- SIEM Administrative Management: maintain SIEM solutions to ensure optimal performance and security for our clients.
- Analytics and Reporting: Develop and deliver leveraging PM tools (i.e Jira) insightful analytical reports, leveraging data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential usage patterns. Use data to craft stories that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Customer Focus: Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and using data-driven insights to enhance their security posture. Build strong relationships with stakeholders through clear and effective communication.
- SaaS Migrations: Assist in the planning and execution of SaaS migrations, ensuring smooth transitions while maintaining system integrity and security.
- Service Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery and resolution of client issues. Implement best practices in IT service management to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in cybersecurity. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance SIEM capabilities and improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service by using data to tell compelling stories and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with SaaS & Hyperscaler migrations and the associated challenges and opportunities (e.g, AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and understanding client needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient operating in Agile work methodology and tools (i.e Jira, ServiceNow)
- Strong Project Management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Lucid Chart, and Github
- Proven experience in SIEM (e.g., Google Chronicle, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, SumoLogic, DataDog, Devo) management and analytics, with a strong understanding of security operations and best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar are a plus.
