Responsible for supporting a highly complex, unstructured and broad capability that must be accomplished with ownership and influence. This requires methodical and consistent problem solving, proactiveness and innovation transform the IAM function for the entire bank. This includes supporting a subset of the following sub-functions: a) strategic planning and implementation b) organizational design and role development c) organizational change management d) human capital management and forecasting e) cross-Truist stakeholder engagement f) process re-engineering g) service management maturity h) data-driven risk remediation i) capability maturity j) continuous improvement k) operations and l) analysis.***Telecommuting/Remote workstyle may be considered for well-qualified individuals located outside of the Truist footprint. Teammate will work hours supporting Eastern Standard Time***
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Align with IAM-wide priorities that define ‘our what’ that may change based on business need
2. Consistently align with Truist Vision, Mission and Values and demonstrate ‘our how’ IAM works:
a. Accountability: set expectations, hold teams accountable, check-in and provide feedback
b. Remove ‘IAM Blinders’: take a Truist-wide approach to owning and resolving challenges
c. Strengthen Team: coach-up, performance manage, develop, and reward top performers/visibility
d. Management System: establish and cascade a predictable schedule for team engagement
e. Continuous Improvement: consistently seeking ways to get better
3. Collaborate with teammates and contract workers who perform defined structured process tasks.
4. Support operational and tactical plans in support of business objectives; develop cross-departmental, cross-CCS and cross-ET&O cases to solve problems by making technical and financial tradeoffs.
5. Apply a balance of 60% technical and 40% functional knowledge to deliver quality results.
6. Support the design and implementation of the IAM transformation strategy on time and within budget:
a. Primary focus on the Identify, Protect and Recover NIST functions
b. Secondary focus on the Detect and Respond NIST functions
c. Interdependencies across IAM, other parts of CCS, ET&O and the LOBs
d. Holistic and innovative view of people, process, and technology components
e. Optimizes us of Truist resources, as well as existing, evolving and new 3rd party relationships
f. Defines short, medium and long-terms roadmaps and funding requirements
g. Identifies ‘if-then’ scenarios across to remain proactive or respond fast vs simply react
h. Enables the cross-CCS needs of Architecture, Cyber Assurance, Cyber Defense, GRC and D-CISOs
i. Stakeholder engagement plans for IAM, CCS, ET&O, Risk Partners, Reg Relations and LOBs
j. Accounts for the business needs, which includes, but is not limited to, Consumer, Wholesale, Insurance, Corporate Functions, Enterprise Data and Operations
k. Engagement with Corporate Communications and Human Resources to enable teammate and contract worker adoption and adherence to the core elements needed to protect Truist
7. Assist in executing and tracking initiatives with stakeholders to improve capability maturity
a. Organizational design and role development
b. Organizational change management
c. Human capital management and forecasting
d. Process re-engineering and automation
e. Service management maturity
f. Data-driven risk remediation
g. NIST function and sub-category maturity
h. Continuous improvement
i. Operations and administration optimization
j. Analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2. 5 years’ technical experience working in the transformation function
3. 5 yeas’ experience in strategic planning, operational planning, and execution
4. 10 years managing simple and structured work
5. 5 years managing complex and unstructured work
6. 5 years’ experience leading diverse teams, such as teammates, contract workers, onshore, offshore resources, and/or managed services
7. 5 years’ experience and intermediate-level technical knowledge of product knowledge and processes for specific IAM areas (e.g., Active directory, RACF, Idaptive, CyberArk, PRIVA, Oracle OIM, Persistent Ignite)
8. 5 years’ experience and basic functional knowledge of tools and processes for the broader IAM capability
9. 5 years’ experience and intermediate-level strength in soft skills and interpersonal communications
10. 10 years’ technical experience working for a top 10 US bank
11. 5 years’ experience collaborating with the following functions: a) infrastructure b) application development c) application support d) business unit risk management e) technology risk f) audit and g) external auditors
12. 5 years’ experience collaborating with the following peer functions in corporate cyber security
13. 3 years’ experience managing the remediation of regulatory matters and internal findings
14. 3 years’ experience in strategic planning and applying industry best practices to operations (NIST, FFIEC)
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Understand multiple approaches to designing IAM technical solutions
2. Experience in waterfall and agile project management methodologies
3. Experience managing contracts for IAM managed service providers
4. CISSP Certification
