About the Role
As a Technology and Information Security Governance (TISG) Partner in our Digital Banking Operations Technology team you’ll be a trusted advisor and expert to technology and business stakeholders to manage technology risk, information security and technology compliance. You will report to the TISG Lead – Hong Kong and North Asia to support technology and information security governance activities across our businesses in Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.

What will your day look like?
As a TISG Partner (Line 1 Risk), you will:
• Drive technology operational risk excellence using the ANZ Risk Management Framework. You will be supporting Country Technology teams to ensure their key risks are understood and well managed. In addition, you will drive continued information security maturity uplift and support technology regulatory compliance for the respective jurisdiction(s).
• Work with the TISG Lead for Hong Kong and North Asia and support the in the execution of their role responsibility across Hong Kong, Japan and Korea.
• Work closely with various stakeholders to perform assessments, interpret requirements, report/track findings and take action to ensure effective delivery of I.AM (ANZ’s operational risk framework) responsibilities relating to Country Risk Theme Officer matters relating to Technology Risk and Information Security risk themes and associated oversight of obligations.
• Face into internal audit and external regulatory engagements for the assigned portfolios to support positive outcomes and execution of associated treatment plans. Support input into risk assessments as well as assessments against country technology regulatory requirements and develop strong relationships with business stakeholders. You will have good communication and presentation skills that support your ability to translate deep technical matters into business and operational risk consequences.
• Support activities to sustain and improve compliance with internal information security policies and external regulatory requirements, determine technical and business impacts from technology risks or security controls such as penetration testing, independent security assessments etc., building staff and customer security awareness through delivery of communication and training programs, and providing business support and leadership on information security matters.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• 5+ years of experience in a technology risk, assurance, audit or compliance-based role
• A good understanding of regulatory and business operating risk environment, monitoring legislative change and regulator sentiment to identify emerging risks and actions to ensure compliance, responding when needed (with some exposure across the financial regulatory landscape of Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea
• An active participant in security awareness programs and education activities
• Information security and risk industry qualification desired - CISSP and/or CISA qualification or equivalent qualifications
• Controls framework understanding and experience
• Experience and understanding of key technology concepts as well as cloud security control environments and risks
• Ability to drive and manage own workload and operate within defined deadlines
• Well developed analytical and problem-solving skills to develop acceptable solutions for the business
• Ability to tailor your communication to your audience level of understanding and communicate in a simple manner which is easily understood by non-risk practitioners.
