Senior DevSecOps Engineer – Cyber Operations

CompQsoft is seeking Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Cyber Capability Developer - SME / Senior) to support cyber operations within the FBI’s Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) Watch Floor. This role focuses on designing, developing, and automating secure cyber capabilities that enable real-time threat detection and rapid incident response.

Job Title: Senior DevSecOps Engineer – Cyber Operations

Security Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI Eligibility

Job Type: Full-Time | May include rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom cyber tools and automation workflows

Implement and manage DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code

Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and engineers to meet mission needs

Integrate with SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel)

Support the operational readiness of cyber defense systems

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility

Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, Go)

Expertise in CI/CD, configuration management, and secure software development

Experience supporting cybersecurity operations or SOC teams

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in federal cyber defense or intelligence operations

SIEM/SOAR integration and automation experience

Secure coding best practices and DevSecOps architecture knowledge
