Job Title: SASE Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled SASE Professional to join our cybersecurity team. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and experience in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions, cloud security, and network security. Candidate will play crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing SASE architectures to ensure secure access to applications and data across organization.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SASE solutions that integrate network security functions with WAN capabilities to provide secure access to cloud applications and services.
• Develop and enforce security policies for cloud environments, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and manage network security technologies, including firewalls, secure web gateways, and zero trust network access (ZTNA) solutions.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Lead incident response efforts for security incidents related to SASE, including investigation, containment, and recovery processes.
• Work closely with IT, DevOps, and other teams to ensure secure deployment and access to applications and services across the organization.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SASE configurations, policies, and procedures. Prepare reports on security incidents and compliance status for management review.
• Knowledgeable in security compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

Skills and  Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of SASE architecture and components.
• Hands on experience with one or more SASE platforms (Zscaler, Palo alto etc)
• Knowledgeable in SD WAN, MPLS, VPN and Cloud Network 
• Strong understanding of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Preferred 
   

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management. 
• Ability to work in fast, evolving & agile environment.

Certifications preferred:

• CISSP, CCSP, SASE-specific certifications
