Windows Engineer – ATO & Virtualization (TS/SCI)

Description

CompQsoft is seeking a Windows Engineer (SME) to support infrastructure systems within a mission-critical federal environment. This position is part of the Infrastructure Support team, responsible for managing enterprise systems that support ECS cybersecurity capabilities and data across secure enclaves.

You will play a key role in maintaining and securing systems, administering Windows and Active Directory environments, supporting VMware virtualization, and ensuring compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.

Job Title: Windows Engineer – ATO & Virtualization (TS/SCI)

Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI eligibility

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows and Active Directory systems

Support VMware vSphere 7 environments and Dell-based hardware infrastructure

Implement secure configurations and system hardening in line with federal guidelines

Collaborate with ISSOs to maintain system accreditation and ATO

Support backup, storage, and automation across physical and virtual systems

Requirements:

Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility

Microsoft Windows system administration

Active Directory (required)

VMware vSphere 7 (preferred)

Cisco networking experience (preferred)

Dell server and SAN storage hardware experience (preferred)

Preferred Certifications

Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
