Job Description:

As an Associate Director Cybersecurity, you will lead a team of highly skilled cybersecurity professionals dedicated to evaluating and enhancing security for key software and hardware components. Lead a team focused on assessing and testing software and hardware to mitigate cyber risks for AT&T, ensuring that both internally and externally developed applications meet stringent security standards before deployment. You will be responsible for implementing security assessments, developing risk reduction metrics, and providing consulting services throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Cybersecurity employees in ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various cyber related projects

  • Analyze complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk.

  • Analyze various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&Ts cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams.

  • Develop policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers.

  • Apply measures to block malicious code and applications. Includes forward looking research, planning and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cyber security threats.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Cyber Security related fields.

  • Requires 8-10 years of related experience.

  • Requires 5+ years managing a technical team or technical projects.

  • Requires 5+ years of experience with Python in either Pandas or Polars data frames

  • Requires 5+ years of experience with Software Delivery Life Cycle.

  • Requires 3+ years of experience required in Jupyter Notebooks and Azure Cloud Development.

  • Requires office presence 5 days a week in Dallas, Texas. No relocation assistance is provided.

  • Power BI

  • Additional Cloud Environments (AWS, Google)

Our Associate Director-Cybersecurity, earns between $174,100-$261,100 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
