Senior Security Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineers to join our growing team and play a key role in strengthening our organisation's cybersecurity posture. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your expertise will contribute directly to the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our clients' security infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of PKI solutions using AppViewX CLM and Thales HSMs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client security requirements.
• Configure and administer AppViewX CLM to automate certificate lifecycle management processes, including certificate enrolment, renewal, and revocation.
• Deploy and manage Thales HSMs for secure key generation, storage, and cryptographic operations.
• Integrate AppViewX CLM with Thales HSMs to provide a comprehensive and secure PKI solution.
• Test the solution and make sure the functional and non-functional requirements are met.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients on PKI best practices, security policies, and compliance requirements including Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF).
• Develop and maintain PKI documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during PKI implementation project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security engineers, network administrators, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration of PKI solutions.
• Contribute in developing PKI maturity roadmap for the clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PKI implementation, and administration.
• Solid understanding of PKI concepts, including certificate authorities, digital certificates, cryptography, and key management.
• Understanding of certificate lifecycle management processes and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Thales HSMs (e.g., Luna), including deployment, configuration, and key management.
• Experience with AppViewX CLM would be an added advantage.
