And when that plan needs to protect the DoD's enterprise information technology, we need strategic policy development. That’s why we need you, a Governance and Working Group Coordinator specialist with the skills to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.
As a cyber strategic planning and policy specialist on our team, you’ll assist in evaluating DoD current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll work on the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work with the client to help them operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.

You Have:
Experience in coordinating across cross functional groups and lead stakeholder meetings
Knowledge of the Department of Defense and its components
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Knowledge of threat and user activity monitoring practices and applications
Ability to translate technology, intelligence, or cybersecurity information into enterprise-level reports and strategy documents
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity or Information Technology matters, or 14+ years of experience with cybersecurity or Information Technology matters in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience within the DoD at a senior-level office or Joint Command
Experience in overseeing a cybersecurity focused-team, project, or work effort
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and their applications
Knowledge of CATMS or a similar task management system to direct tasking across a broad organization
Ability to conduct required research and coordination to represent leadership intent and interests
Possession of excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills to communicate with executives and C-suite equivalence
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
