Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Architect to lead the design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of a US Air Force AWS cloud-based program infrastructure. This involves the final integration and deployment of Zero-trust enabled, data centric, coalition information sharing functionality to DoD components, allies, and interagency partners.
What You Will Do
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex cloud and cloud infrastructure solutions that meet Government requirements.
- Lead the DevSecOps team to develop automation tools and processes to streamline software development and deployment.
- Provide govt with a scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure. Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to detect and diagnose issues in the cloud infrastructure and software applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other architects and engineers.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and common services and make recommendations for their use.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with CSPs, Managed Service Providers, and other required vendors.
What We Are Looking For: Minimum Qualifications
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
- 8+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture with public cloud providers; 5+ years of experience in a leadership role; 2+ years of experience working in a DoD or other Federal Government environment;
- Experience with FedRAMP+ environments.
- Any Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level 2 or above
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
- Proven experience designing and implementing highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant cloud-based infrastructure solutions; experience leading DevSecOps teams and implementing automation tools and processes; strong knowledge of network architecture and security principles; knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions
- Active Secret Clearance
