Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Lead IT contract negotiations & drive cost saving options
- Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT infrastructure across the organization
- Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT infrastructure and security
- Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of the business organization as a member of the senior management team
- Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations
- Direct development & execution of enterprise-wide disaster recovery & business continuity plans
- Develop and control the departmental budget and manage expenditures (Capex and Opex)
- Recruit, coach, develop and motivate team to create a work environment that retains personnel who deliver innovative, value add IT services across the business
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Continuously reevaluate technology and solutions: Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices
Service Management:
- Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance
- Implement and improve on the ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM stacks
- Build and implement new use cases for our Agentic AI platform
Network & Workplace:
- Lead continuous improvement of SD-WAN, including performance and financials
- Prepare for and lead hardware, software, and operating system lifecycles
- Manage vendor relationships and associated performance metrics
Cloud & Edge:
- Lead continuous improvement of Azure Commercial and GCC-H clouds, including performance and financials all while maintaining Control of cloud costs
- Lead testing of DRaaS and Backup solutions
Security:
- Act as an advocate for cybersecurity awareness via regular communications with the organization’s executives, department heads, and end users
- Ensure the efficacy of systems and processes to protect the company from cyber threats
- Lead internal and external audits related to different scopes
- Mature the CMMC 2.0 Level 2 program to ensure annual POAM's are resolved, and business units are adhering to CMMC controls
- Identify gaps in existing security Runbooks for incidents & improve and mature on NIST CSF framework implementation
- Utilize all aspects of the Microsoft Security stack
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or related or equivalent experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership within IT including at least 8-10 years of experience working in technology architecture and security
- Strong working knowledge of network, hardware, storage and operating system concepts with emphasis on VMWare, Microsoft Windows and SQL Server, Cisco networking and NetApp storage systems
- Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and collaboration platforms
- Considerable working knowledge of IT Security and Compliance architectures, programs and processes
- Experience designing and managing complex SaaS, Cloud, and Hosted environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels inside and outside the organization
- Ability to work through conflict, gain trust and persuasively influence outcomes
- A devoted, passionate leader with an ability to build strong teams, support growth and utilize technology to build real value
- Flexible, able to adjust and change direction as the business environment and technology universe evolves and changes
- Action oriented and able to work proactively with little or no direct management
- Familiar with fundamentals of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Solid understanding of project management principles
