  • Enable cybersecurity by maintaining operational security posture and ensures information systems security policies, standards and procedures are established and followed
  • Ensure Windows and Linux logs are being collected, forwarded and reviewed with Elasticsearch
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments on containers and analyze, research, and prioritize CVEs and their remediation
  • Work closely with a team of engineers, including additional system administrators, network engineers, system engineers, and cybersecurity engineers to provide high quality, innovative engineering services
  • Work with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions
  • Provide input on cyber requirements, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Security Requirement Guide (SRG), JFHQ DoDIN Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO)
  • Utilize SCAP tools and vulnerability scanning tools (such as NMAP, Nessus (or Tenable ACAS)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education/Training: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline required 
    • Associate’s Degree can be considered with 2+ additional years of experience
    • Active DoD 8570 IAT II certification (i.e. Security+) or higher

Experience:

    • 2+ years of direct experience in system administration and cybersecurity 

Security:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $95,000 - 120,000

Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
