Director, Cybersecurity - Identity and Zero Trust

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the transformation of legacy identity services, focusing on minimizing dependency on on-premises Active Directory while improving its security and resilience.

• Define and drive a long-term strategy for modern Identity & Access Management (IAM) aligned with NVIDIA’s Zero Trust principles.

• Build and lead an outstanding SRE-focused team dedicated to the design, operation, and evolution of identity infrastructure.

• Integrate with enterprise security tools, cloud platforms, and internal applications to ensure consistent identity and access controls.

• Streamline IAM processes and user experiences without compromising security or compliance.

• Collaborate with business and technical collaborators to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and user needs.

• Advocate for AD modernization across the enterprise, ensuring transparency and executive support.

• Stay ahead of industry trends to advise NVIDIA’s identity strategy and strengthen the company’s security posture.

What We Need To See:

• Demonstrable experience in leading IAM modernization initiatives, encompassing Active Directory, Single Sign On, and Zero Trust.

• Expertise in applying SRE practices to deploy and operate resilient, scalable, and secure enterprise systems.

• Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to build and encourage high-performing teams.

• Effective interpersonal skills to advocate for IAM initiatives at an executive level.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent experience.

• 12+ years of overall experience.

• 5 or more years of leadership experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Identity & Access Management.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

• Consistent track record of driving identity and access management initiatives that span across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

• Hands-on experience in integrating emerging IAM technologies such as passwordless authentication, decentralized identity, Enterprise browsers.

• Strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO 27001, and their application to enterprise identity strategy.

• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA), reflecting a solid foundation in cybersecurity and risk management.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The base salary range is 268,000 USD - 408,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
