Intro And Job Overview:


Precisely is looking for a talented Product Security Architect to join our growing team. The Product Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust security posture for Precisely cloud infrastructure as well as the Secure Software Development Lifecycle. The successful candidate is experienced in cloud and product security and risk assessment, with a strong understanding of cloud security protocols/controls, authentication/authorization, network security, and data protection, with the ability to recommend and implement industry best practices. You'll be a strategic thinker who can translate business needs into actionable security solutions, while also possessing the technical expertise to implement best practices across various cloud platforms and deployment methodologies.

 Responsibilities And Duties:

  • Define the Future of Product Security: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a long-term vision for Precisely's product security program and coordinate closely with the cloud security operations and application security teams to deliver on that vision.
  • Architect the Blueprint: Develop and implement a comprehensive product security strategy and architecture spanning off the shelf software, private cloud hosted and SaaS solutions and maintain a roadmap for ongoing improvement.
  • Excellence in Software Engineering: Develop security standards, policies and secure design concepts for the software engineering community as part of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay current on emerging security standards and technologies, ensuring Precisely leverages the latest advancements.
  • Risk Management: Conduct security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Cloud Expertise: Perform security architecture reviews across cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure & GCP).
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional security champions and the security operations team to address vulnerabilities, develop remediation plans, and respond to security incidents.
  • Innovation: Continuously improve Precisely's product security posture by introducing new technologies and optimizing existing solutions.
  • Automation: Implement security frameworks with a focus on automation for greater efficiency and scalability.
  • Project Leadership: Take ownership and lead multi-stakeholder projects across the organization to advance our cloud security goals.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization with Security: Balancing security with cost-effectiveness in the cloud environment.
  • Security Tools and Technologies: CSPM, CWPP, ASPM, Cloud Native Security, Cloud-based vulnerability scanning tools like Falcon Spotlight or Amazon Inspector, Container Security, Cloud WAFs, Endpoint Protection such as CrowdStrike Falcon or Microsoft Defender, GitHub, Infrastructure as a code, Secrets Management

Requirements And Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or a related field
  • 8+ years of cloud security experience, focusing on designing and implementing secure cloud computing solutions mainly with AWS and Azure security architecture and cloud operations
  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with Cloud Native/DevOps practices with security in focus
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams in a remote work environment
  • Certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CCSK, AWS or Azure Security or relevant industry security certifications are preferred
