Job Summary

The position of Senior System Administrator will be responsible for managing and securing our cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications. You will oversee AWS environments, implement security best practices, monitor system performance, and support internal users to ensure seamless operations.


Responsibilities

  • Manage, setup, monitor, upgrade and optimize AWS hosted environments on Windows Server

  • Manage administration and users for Gmail Business, Asana, Filezilla, Vonage, KKH ecommerce platform and Salesforce.

  • Manage users and configurations for NordLayer VPN

  • Manage, setup and monitor all backup systems.

  • Manage, upgrade and setup MySQL databases.

  • Implement and manage deployment automation software.

  • Deploy all software updates from engineering teams to test and production environments.

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud-related issues.

  • Manage, and implement database synchronizations across different server environments.

  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.

  • Document all IT processes and IT configurations for servers, third party tools, etc.

  • Provide user technical support for business users and technical teams.

  • Assist in disaster recovery planning.

  • Review, investigate and assist with company cyber security protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in IT System Administration, with a focus on windows environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services.

  • Experience with deployment, networking and security tools.

  • Experience with MySQL databases

  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, or other scripting tools.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Certifications (Not Required but a Plus)

  • MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

  • CompTIA Security+ or CISSP
