Responsibilities
As a threat analyst, you will develop and produce insightful and timely intelligence products, in the form of briefings, bullet background papers, and other analytic products. These products will focus on specific adversary, regional, or technological issues through the fusion of multiple intelligence sources and disciplines, that will contextualize the adversary threat story within the larger national security picture. These products will directly support Acquisition PEO and Program Manager decision making.
• Experience analyzing threat information from multiple sources, disciplines, and agencies across the Intelligence Community; demonstrated experience synthesizing and placing intelligence information in context, drawing insights into the possible implications, and preparing reports for government customers.• Experience deriving intelligence requirements based on customer needs and integrating intelligence information into acquisition programs through interactions with multiple MAJCOMs. • Experience with the Modeling and Simulation community. Must be familiar with the DoD Modeling and Simulation capabilities, processes, and participants as it pertains to exercises, operational analysis, training events, and wargaming.• Familiar with integrating key adversary threat data/information into Modeling and Simulation scenarios and analysis, ensuring model accuracy and providing analytic guidance to both engineers and decision-makers.• Willing to learn new technical and intelligence tradecraft proficiencies and implement learned tradecraft quickly.• Ability to lead and promote the development and use of a broad range of methodological tools and approaches to research, analyze, and present data (modeling, link analysis, or software).• Possess fundamental critical thinking and oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex information and technical data and communicate those findings to non-technical customers.• Ability to identify inconsistencies and biases, study relevant perspectives, question key assumptions, remain open-minded, and change opinions based on new information and requirements.• Possess fundamental interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills, including an ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment, and demonstrate initiative in carrying out mission responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.• Brief counterparts and senior officials on current intelligence products, answer questions, and provide supporting information.• Provide analytic assessments under tight timelines, adjust priorities, and change focus quickly as demands change.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Five or more years’ experience as an all-source intelligence analyst producing all-source written products or briefs, or previous experience working as an analyst covering adversary threat topics or other regional intelligence topics. Experience should be with integrating the following intelligence types; HUMINT, MASINT, SIGINT, Geospatial intelligence, OSINT, TECHINT.
• Possess excellent briefing skills • Concise writing ability
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. A master’s degree is preferred in a scientific, technical, or analytic discipline.
Clearance Requirements:
• Active T5 Top Secret security clearance and must have additional experience with security duties related to SAP and SCI.
Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, due to contract requirements.
