Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Resiliency Advisor to join our Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Resiliency team in a full-time, in-house capacity. This role is an integral part of our Information Technology team and is responsible for driving our Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management programs. The main responsibility of the Cyber Resiliency Advisor is to develop and maintain continuity of operations plans, technology recovery strategies, facilitate and advise during critical business events.
This hybrid position will be based out of our Kansas City, Missouri office.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Partner with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives and cyber resiliency initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies and roadmaps for resilience, including crisis management, emergency response, business continuity, pandemic, and disaster recovery plans.
- Implementation of corporate resiliency policies and procedures. Coordinate to develop, evaluate and audit continuity plans for all business units and recovery plans for data centers, applications, and processes.
- Lead business impact analysis, determining criticality of business processes and recovery strategies.
- Facilitate identification and mapping of important business functions, including dependencies on people, technology, facilities, third parties, applications, resources, and data.
- Develop and coordinate business continuity testing methodologies, including tabletop exercises and simulations.
- Manage emergency notification systems and provide ongoing support for Cyber Resiliency across all business units.
What You Bring to the Team (Required)
- A Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems or related field, or a combination of education and related work experience.
- At least 10 years validated experience in regulations, compliance requirements, and business continuity/disaster recovery management trends.
- General knowledge of IT, information security, network, facilities management, and physical security & safety.
- Ability to be on call 24/7 for disaster recovery/crisis management events.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a self-motivated and organized approach.

Additional Assets (Preferred)
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP, Disaster Recovery Institute International) or equivalent Professional (Business Continuity Institute) accreditation.
