Why MAG?
The role
This is a vital role in ensuring that Stansted Airport is in compliance with Regulatory and MAG policies, standards and procedures. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Overall accountability for our Security Management System
- Providing security advice to external and internal stakeholders
- Updating protocols, processes and procedures to align with our Airport Security Programme
- Review our Risk Register and other governance to ensure compliance
- Take all and appropriate actions to to ensure we meet regulatory standards
- Deliver performance improvement projects and training throughout the department
- Keep informed and report on emerging trends and changes within the security industry
- Work collaboratively with the wider business to ensure all systems and procedures are effectively implemented and formalised
- Investigate security breaches and non-compliance of internal and external parties and advise appropriate action
What will make you successful in the role?
In order to be successful within this role, you will posses the following:
- Good knowledge of security regulations and local procedures
- Prior experience within the Aviation Security sector
- Experience in Risk Management
- Collaborative approach
- Clear and effective communication style
- Experience using Microsoft Suite
- Understanding of ASAID and DFT Governance
A valid driving licence and eligibility to achieve Counter Terrorist Clearance (CTC) are requirements for the role.
