Oracle offers a comprehensive and fully integrated stack of cloud applications and cloud platform services.The primary responsibility is to resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure services and automation, thereby preventing future recurrences. This involves designing, developing, and deploying software to enhance the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Additionally, it is necessary to create designs, architectures, standards, and methods for small to medium scale distributed systems. The role also entails facilitating capacity planning, demand forecasting, performance analysis, and system tuning.
A significant aspect of this position is ensuring adherence to architecture and security protocols, obtaining necessary approvals prior to software release. This includes conducting Detailed Design Review (DDR), Cloud Architectural Review (CAR), 3rd party, and API reviews to secure Oracle Health Release Management (OHRM) architecture approval. Furthermore, OHRM security approvals require Vulnerability Scans, Threat Modeling, Corporate Security Solution Assurance Process (CSSAP), and Risk Assessments. It is essential to continuously monitor and maintain these architectural and security measures, as each future release will necessitate the same OHRM approvals.
The new Site Reliability Developer (SRD) will be integral to the migration of Specialty Practice Management (SPM) databases from Sybase to Oracle Autonomous DB (ADB), encompassing resource planning, time management, execution of data migration utilities, and verification of completion. This role will be crucial in defining, designing, creating, and maintaining scalable applications within OCI, while also providing maintenance and upkeep of non-production, production, and development environments. Overall, the position will play a vital role in collaboration with the engineering team to develop and maintain scalable applications.
This is a remote based role in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provision and deprovision of resources to ensure efficient system operations
• Design and implement architecture, networking, and system configurations to minimize downtime
• Monitor applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve reported problems, working closely with engineers to investigate and document root causes
• Collaborate on the migration of SPM to OCI, including moving from Sybase DB to Oracle ADB environment
• Develop and implement architecture and security measures, ensuring compliance with approvals and reviews
• Plan, execute, and verify data migrations from Sybase to Oracle databases
• Define, design, create, and maintain scalable applications within the OCI facility
• Provide maintenance and upkeep of various environments to ensure ongoing reliability and performance
• Solid understanding of Networking, Security and Storage
• Understand and communicate the scale, capacity, security, performance attributes, and requirements of the service and technology stack
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
