Experience:

Key Skills:

• Proficient in using Wireshark, Scapy, and BLE sniffers
• Strong knowledge of wireless protocol structures and vulnerabilities
• Hands-on experience with TLS/SSL testing and validation (using testssl.sh, OpenSSL)
• Familiarity with entropy testing using tools such as dieharder and rngtest,Metasploit
• Experience in protocol fuzzing and traffic manipulation
• Understanding of MITM, replay attack, and protocol downgrade techniques
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash) for test automation
• Experience with vulnerability identification and risk documentation
• Familiarity with EN 18031 and regulatory security standards
• Ability to develop and execute custom test cases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Knowledge of cryptographic standards , secure key management, cryptographic key generation
• Ability to assist in remediation planning and follow-up testing
• Knowledge of other wireless technologies and exploits is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Execute penetration tests on wireless communication systems (BLE, Wi-Fi)
• Perform detailed fuzzing, packet sniffing, and protocol analysis
• Validate TLS/SSL configurations and ensure secure key exchanges
• Conduct entropy and randomness tests on cryptographic modules
• Identify, document, and report vulnerabilities in network protocols
• Simulate common network attacks such as MITM, replay, and downgrade
• Develop and maintain custom test scripts and methodologies
• Collaborate with the Network & Cryptography Lead to refine testing strategies
• Assist in mapping vulnerabilities to RED 18031 compliance requirements
• Provide clear and actionable remediation recommendations
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports on testing outcomes
• Support incident response and troubleshooting related to network security issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and testing tools
• Ensure all tests adhere to defined security and regulatory standards
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members on best practices

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field
• Preferred: CEH or CompTIA Security+
• Hands-on labs or short courses in cryptography or wireless protocol testing are a plus
