Job Description
As R&D Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in embedding cybersecurity principles into the lifecycle of our robotic and software systems. You will collaborate with R&D, product management, and compliance teams to assess risks, define security requirements, and support our alignment with security regulations and standards, including NIS2, CRA, and IEC 62443.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity measures across our robotics platforms and IT infrastructure
- Assist in translating NIS2 and CRA requirements into actionable policies and controls
- Contribute to the development of security risk assessments and threat models
- Help define and enforce secure software and hardware development practices
- Participate in product certifications and assessments related to IEC 62443
- Provide input on incident response planning and security testing
- Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends and evolving regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in cybersecurity, preferably in an industrial or embedded systems context
- Familiarity with the NIS2 directive, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and IEC 62443 standards
- Understanding of network security, secure software development, and industrial control system (ICS) security
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-driven mindset
- Fluency in English and Dutch
