Cybersecurity Analyst

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for our South Korea site. We support the "Eighth Army which is America's Pacific Guardians of Freedom". Our team supports C4I functions for the Eighth Army Headquarters and seven Major Subordinate Commands to include tactical communications for multiple theater-level exercises and training events. Eighth Army today stands ready to defend our national interests and those of our allies whenever called upon.

 

As our Cybersecurity Analyst you'll have the opportunity to:

• Provide cybersecurity support services to 8th Army Headquarters and Major Subordinate Commands.
• Perform daily cybersecurity incident response duties.
• Assist in preparation of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Tenant Inclusion Packet (TIP) documentation in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Track, monitor, and review authorization status of Army Program of Record systems that are registered in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Service (eMASS).
• Review host intrusion prevention system (HIPS) and vulnerability scan reports for analysis.
• Ensure user account management compliance.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or closely related field with minimum of 2 years of current cybersecurity related tasks. Bachelors Degree can be waived with six (6) years experience performing IA/Cybersecurity tasks.
• Active Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
• Active DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 IAM Level II certification (i.e. CISSP, Security X, CCISO, CISM, GSLC, CGRC, or HCISPP) (subject to verification)
• Active Secret security clearance.

DESIRED:

• Minimum Background Investigation complete NALC\T3 with SSBI\T5 initiated.

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
