What You’ll Do Here: 

We are looking for Security Analyst Interns for our growing team! You will gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to learn from industry professionals. Depending on your team assignment, here’s what you’ll do here:  

Cyber Governance, Risk, & Compliance 

• Handle intake requests for cybersecurity risk and compliance activities, support the risk register, and assist with third-party risk assessments. 

• Maintain baseline documentation and SOPs, prepare cybersecurity metrics with the Business Analyst, and oversee the implementation and testing of risk management tools. 

• Lead security incident response efforts, stay current with evolving security trends, and suggest enhancements for monitoring and advisories. 

Data Protection 

• Provide support for Data Protection and Endpoint Security tasks, maintain baseline documentation, and assist in preparing cybersecurity metrics, leveraging experience with CrowdStrike and Microsoft Security Suite. 

• Collaborate with peers, senior team members, and stakeholders to prioritize and manage requests, and participate in Purple team exercises to test attack scenarios. 

Cyber Defense  

• Perform operational and administrative tasks related to security components, ensuring optimal protection and timely updates. 

• Analyze event logs, investigate potential security incidents, and follow up to delete unnecessary or unused access. 

• Process requests to add, modify, and delete system access according to guidelines and maintain accurate access control. 

What you bring to the table:  

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Math & Statistics, or IT related field 

• Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Fall 2025 Term (September to December)    

• Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Winter 2026 following your internship 

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills 

• Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning  

• Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology  

• Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility 

• Be bilingual for all Quebec roles (English and French). Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.
