Overview
Every day, Deutsche Bank observes thousands of intrusion attempts. Integrated in Deutsche Bank’s Chief Information Security Office (CISO), the Information Security Threat Operations (ISTO) team is responsible for mitigating these risks, The Cyber Forensics Investigator sits in the Advanced Threat Analysis & Investigations (ATAI) team. This team consists of subject-matter experts in the areas of forensic investigations, malware analysis, and threat hunting, The Cyber Forensics Investigator will work alongside these other subject-matter experts to identify, investigate, and mitigate threats to the Bank’s infrastructure.
The Cyber Forensics Investigator will investigate suspected instances of fraud, abuse, data leakage, computer viruses, malicious code, and network penetrations of Deutsche Bank’s information systems, The ideal professional will understand the process and procedures relative to complex investigations, Thus, including evidence recovery, examination and analysis of data from computers and other electronic storage devices within cyber-physical systems in order to use the data as evidence. Additionally, an understanding of how to dismantle and rebuild systems to recover lost data is expected.

What You’ll Do
Provide computer incident and violation response support, and cyber security awareness & training. Participate in technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to computer security, protection against malware, and other vulnerabilities
Responsible for conducting a forensically sound collection and analysis of electronic evidence (including hard disk images, system memory images, network logs, and other artifacts) using various tools in support of Security, HR/ER, Legal, and Compliance
Work alongside malware analysts and threat hunters to identify and mitigate threats embedded in the Bank’s infrastructure
Responsible for supervising and mentoring co-located junior forensic investigators of a global team that resolves internal security events
Responsible for managing and leading the local Advanced Threat Analysis & Investigations (ATAI) team. This team consists of subject-matter experts in the areas of forensic investigations, malware analysis, and threat hunting
Work with the global team and external teams to drive efficiencies, innovations, and projects and assist in the creation of processes/procedures and associated technical documentation
How You’ll Lead
Ability to independently assess scope of forensic requests, effectively complete required digital forensic analysis, and possess the ability to write clear and concise reports for the intended audience
Supervising and mentoring co-located junior forensic investigators of a global team that resolves internal security events
Managing and leading the local Advanced Threat Analysis & Investigations (ATAI) team consisting of subject-matter experts in the areas of forensic investigations, malware analysis, and threat hunting
Skills You’ll Need
Advanced experience in computer forensics, cybercrime investigation or related fields, with expert level of experience working in Information Technology (software development, Information Technology (IT) administration, network engineering, etc.)
Experience conducting senior level digital forensics examinations on Windows operating systems
Knowledge of computer forensic best practices and industry standard methodologies for acquiring and handling of digital evidence
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other Technology related field preferred. Industry standard digital forensics certifications (CCE, GCFE, GCFA, CFCE, etc) or related certifications (GCIH, GREM, etc) are preferred

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $100,000 to $145,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
