Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to policies and standards, manage control procedures, and maintain metrics for cybersecurity risk visibility. Track and coordinate remediation actions and monitor risk governance programs.
  • Compliance Enablement: Implements security controls, risk assessment framework, and programs that align to regulatory requirements, ensuring documented and sustainable compliance that aligns business objectives. 
  • Standards Development: Assist in developing and refining security standards and procedures. Defines and documents business process responsibilities and ownership.
  • Technical Writing: Create and refine documentation for security controls and processes. Prepare compliance reports, presentations, metrics, status reports and documentation.  Report to senior management. presentations, metrics and other documentation, and security risks identified.
  • Audit/Exam Support: Support Information Security teams in responding to audit and examination requests. Assist with various internal and external audits, their responses and remediation efforts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in security governance, tracking and reporting.
  • Change Management: Facilitate adoption of security governance initiatives and ensure effective communication and implementation.
  • Communication: Acts as liaison between Information Security, Technology and business teams regarding information security requirements, compliance activities and reporting.

Security Domain:

  • Security Architecture & Engineering: Partner with Security Architecture, Engineering and Operations to support compliance and enhancement projects.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in security governance, technical writing, or continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, computer science, information security, or related field; or equivalent experience/certifications.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement and managing change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Prefer experience with auditors/examiners.
  • Cybersecurity and/or GRC experience/certifications a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $94,000 to $150,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
