What You'll Be Doing:
We are seeking a Network Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Lead to oversee the LCM (Life Cycle Management) and security evolution of specialized networks across LRL, including Laboratory and Manufacturing networks. This role will also lead LRL in evolving network and network device cybersecurity capabilities in line with enterprise Cyber Security objectives.
This position will report to the Sr. Director LRL Lab Infrastructure Services and Technologies.
The LRL Network Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Lead will be responsible for:
- Technical leadership for network and security related initiatives across LRL
- Partnering with LRL Infrastructures Services and Technologies team technical leads and architects to deliver on team commitments
- LRL subject matter expertise of specialized network architecture principles, including NextGen firewall rules/policies and evaluation of business needs in conjunction with network and security architecture principles
- Coordination of Network Lifecycle management activities in close collaboration with EC (Enterprise Connectivity) and affected business areas to minimize business risk and disruption
- Providing guidance and driving best practices in network and security processes across the LRL Infrastructure Services and technologies team
- LRL Subject matter expertise for device management/device endpoint security on specialized networks
- Close partnership with enterprise Cyber Security and Information Security Business Enablement teams to assure alignment of enterprise initiatives and best practices across LRL specialized networks
- Evaluating, leading, and tracking the response of Cybersecurity PTM (Proactive Threat Management) and remediation activities for LRL across specialized networks and endpoint devices/systems
- Leading local troubleshooting efforts for network-related incidents in collaboration with enterprise IDS teams and impacted business area(s)
- People management and technical leadership of infrastructure analysts as assigned
What You Should Bring:
- Network or Security certifications
- Ability to build and maintain peer relationships across organizational boundaries
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Good judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering services considering complex needs, business constraints and technological realities
- Previous experience in LRL or MQ (Manufacturing Quality) Tech@Lilly with regulated (GxP) systems, computer system validation, and information security best practices
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT Telecommunications or Cybersecurity or a high school diploma/GED AND at least 8 to 10 years of experience in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network connectivity and/or endpoint device security
- 5+ years experience with enterprise networking architecture, network segmentation, network security, and device endpoint security
- 5+ years experience of enterprise networking technologies, device/server/workstation operating systems and troubleshooting

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$123,000 - $180,400Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
