Job Description

Shape the future core infrastructure and play a pivotal role in the implementation of the global Azure platform within SIKA’s operational technology (OT) environment. Over the next 12–18 months, expand the platform capabilities, prepare it for exponential user growth and eventually take full responsibility for the Azure platform to ensure its long-term operation and governance.

Project Phase:

• Drive various integration and implementation infrastructure projects as part of a global OT road map.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external service providers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful deployment.
• Define and document best practices, operational procedures, and governance policies for cloud infrastructure management.
• Conduct work in alignment with SIKA’s security and compliance requirements.
• Develop knowledge transfer plans and drive the transition from external to internal operational management.

Normal Operation:

• Take over full responsibility for the administration and maintenance of the global Azure platform.
• Ensure high availability, security, and compliance of all Azure platform components.
• Perform regular updates, patching, and backup verification.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, authentication, and monitoring.
• Provide ongoing support for OT teams utilizing the infrastructure.
• Continuously assess infrastructure needs and drive improvements to optimize efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in computer science, information technology or relevant training and experience
• Experience managing IT infrastructure projects, preferably within cloud environments.
• Solid knowhow in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, networking, and security frameworks.
• Familiarity with operational technology (OT) environments and their specific infrastructure needs.
• Hands-on experience with authentication mechanisms, PKI, and security protocols.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator, PMP, or CISSP are a plus.
