Job Title: Senior System Administrator
Location: Remote

Duties:
- Responsible for management of eMASS record for MyServiceBenefits (MSB) program - examples of duties include preparation and submission of Annual Security Review, development of documents/plans for ATO approval, creation and submission of workflows, etc.
- Completion of DISA STIG vulnerability checklist
- Expert knowledge of RMF v4
- Non-voting member of Change Control Board - responsible for preparing slides, creating Change Control Requests, and briefing stakeholders on the MSB system
- ALTESS Code Promotion Policy - understanding the process, package preparation for submission to the government, and performance of self-service access request once approvals are received
- Preparation of SAST, DAST (BurpSuite), and SCA (Dependency Check) scans
- Knowledge of DMDC, IPPS-A, and MilPDS connections/APIs
- Administration of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, SonarQube, BurpSuite, Dependency Check, etc.
- Admin/System Architecture experience with Ingeniux CMS
- Experience with AFPIMS environment
- Responsible for renewal of commercial & DoD certificates for and Staging and Production websites in the MSB system
- Responsible for whitelist records management of all Staging and Production URLs in the MSB system
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree
- 10+ years' experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related IT field
- Ability to upkeep, configure, and provide reliable operation of assigned computer systems in support of the program
- Able to install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software-related problems
- May perform system backups and recovery
- Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity
- Ensures implementation of system security measures, troubleshoots networking and operating system problems
- May direct activities of other system administrators or lead projects
- May advise contract managers, automation technical experts, and solve complex system problems
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Expert-level knowledge of security compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP, DoD RMF)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Ability to perform forensic analysis of logs, systems, and network traffic
- Knowledge of cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Security+, CISSP, CAP, or CISM certification
- Experience serving as an ISSO, with a deep understanding of security policies, compliance, and system authorization processes
- Proven experience supporting RMF (Risk Management Framework), including the preparation and maintenance of System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and other A&A documentation
- Experience conducting security control assessments and working directly with System Owners (SOs) and Authorizing Officials (AOs)
- Strong familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, NIST 800-37, and related security standards
- Prior involvement in system authorization (ATO) processes and continuous monitoring activities
- Administrator-level knowledge of BitBucket, BurpSuite, Confluence, Ingeniux, Jira, and SonarQube.
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
