The Security Analyst is responsible for recommending and monitoring appropriate security controls/best practices for all security domains throughout the company.  This role is responsible for understanding and preparing the organization to pass any and all security audits that come from a client or through a 3rd party assessment.  The Security Analyst will perform IT auditing to ensure IT’s compliance of security parameters. 

Job Details:

  • Recommend system security controls and framework by developing standards, policies, and procedures; coordinating with facilities security; recommending improvements.

  • Develops and maintains security related SOP’s and security documentation for all systems/applications.

  • Complete overall security audit questionnaires for potential and existing audits

  • Participate in visits by client and 3rd party security auditors by facilitating reporting on our security compliance and recommending remediation plans when needed.

  • Identify (or coordinate) process improvement projects as they relate to security.

  • Incident Response planning and testing for security related incidents.

  • Monitors compliance with information security policies and procedures, referring problems to the appropriate department manager.

  • Ensure security scans are performed for all of CBE systems. (Intrusion detection testing and monitoring)

  • Research and evaluate data security enhancements to maintain or surpass industry standards.

  • Perform Entitlement Reviews to ensure proper access to information systems.

  • Define metrics and methodologies to measure security performance of applied new technologies.

  • Provide security-consulting services to all lines of business 

  • Proactively assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the network

  • Participate in other teams, projects and task forces as may be required to insure appropriate access controls and security related processes are designed into applications, systems and products.

  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.

  • Provide regular project and time accounting to management via appropriate tools.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college Information Assurance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent

  • 1+ years of cybersecurity experience

  • Must be able to obtain government clearance after hire. US Citizenship is required by the US government in order to obtain government clearance. 

  • GISF/GSEC, Security + or other relevant Security Certifications recommended

  • Strong communications skills, both written and oral

  • Organized, responsive and highly thorough learner and problem solver

  • Knowledge of standards and regulations that apply to the 1st party and 3rd party call center industry preferred

The starting pay range for this position is $60,000 - $72,000/year. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
