Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Enterprise Security Engineering to join Procore’s Cybersecurity team. In this role, you’ll lead and scale the security engineering function responsible for protecting Procore’s internal enterprise environment, including our corporate infrastructure, SaaS platforms, endpoints, and business systems. You’ll play a critical role in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient systems that protect Procore’s people, data, and operations.

As a Senior Manager, Enterprise Security Engineering, you’ll partner with IT, Business Technology, Enterprise Applications, and cross-functional security teams to build and manage core enterprise security capabilities. Use your expertise in enterprise architecture, identity and access management, and endpoint security to drive measurable improvements in our security posture and operational maturity. This position reports to the Director of Security Strategy and Operations and will be based in Austin. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the Enterprise Security Engineering team responsible for securing Procore’s corporate systems, endpoints, SaaS platforms, and enterprise apps

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade security controls across identity, access, devices, and collaboration tools

  • Partner closely with IT, Business Technology, and G&A teams to ensure secure architecture and ongoing risk reduction

  • Manage the deployment, configuration, and tuning of security technologies, including EDR/XDR, IAM, email security, and PAM solutions

  • Ensure alignment with control frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX, and internal policies

  • Respond to and investigate enterprise-targeted security incidents in partnership with the Detection & Response team

  • Drive automation, self-healing capabilities, and improved monitoring across enterprise security controls

  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team of engineers with a focus on inclusion, accountability, and growth

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years of experience in security or infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a formal leadership role

  • Deep knowledge of securing enterprise environments, including identity platforms (e.g., Okta), SaaS applications, and endpoint ecosystems

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) and common enterprise architectures

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX) and experience designing controls to meet audit requirements

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a bias for action and clarity

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and build trusted relationships across technical and business teams

  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications are a plus

 

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $198,240 - $272,580. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
