The Opportunity: 

We are seeking an Information Security Consultant to assist the Singapore Business Information Security Officer with all information security matters in Singapore. This includes application security, vulnerability management, security compliance, security awareness education, third-party risk management, incident response and planning, data loss prevention, and security-related projects. This role will also have exposure to Asia Pacific and Global information security-related initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Singapore Business Information Security Officer, serving as the single point of contact and a trusted advisor in Singapore for all information security-related matters.
• Collaborate with the Global Data Loss Prevention (DLP) team, managing the local DLP process in Singapore and delivering regular management reports to regional and global stakeholders.
• Conduct information security assessments in accordance with Group policies and standards.
• Engage with local stakeholders and regional technical support teams to drive security KRIs and KPIs.
• Provide technical expertise on local security tools setup.
• Perform information security due diligence for third parties.
• Contribute to information security efforts for all other Regional/Global initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in relevant fields with a minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience in information security within the financial sector or consulting firm.
• Familiarity with Singapore cyber security-related regulations.
• Strong understanding of the latest cyber security threat landscape.
• Robust technical knowledge of cloud security and international security standards, e.g., NIST, ISO27001.
