CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Journeyman Cyber MA Analyst to join our team to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award.  

The ideal candidate will be responsible for correlating Cyber Terrains items in USSOUTHCOM's Area of Responsibility (AOR).  

This role requires expertise in multiple complex work assignments across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • The Cyber MA Analyst, Journeyman assesses USSOUTHCOM's alignment with OSD/JS Mission Assurance (MA) instructions and directives, supporting MA services that enable resilient C5IM capabilities. 

  • This role correlates assets critical for executing USSOUTHCOM's strategies, including Key Terrains in Cyber (KT-C) and MRT-C. The analyst assesses and tracks the status of Defense Critical Assets (DCAs) and Task Critical Assets (TCAs) in USSOUTHCOM's Area of Responsibility (AOR).  

  • Additionally, they evaluate the integration of cyber resiliency, redundancy, and continuity planning for disaster recovery, incident response, and continuity of operations.  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Must hold an active secret level clearance 

  • Must have Security+ 

  • Knowledge of DoD 8500 series, NIST 800-53/39, and Mission Assurance Categories (MAC I–III)  

  • Must have 3 to 5 years of relevant cybersecurity or mission assurance experience, including: 

  • Exposure to risk management, continuity of operations (COOP), cyber resilience, and mission-critical systems 

  • Familiarity with DoD mission assurance frameworks, RMF (Risk Management Framework), and possibly Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) 

  • Experience supporting system or enterprise-level risk/vulnerability assessments related to the impact on mission success 

  • Understanding of cyber threats in the context of operational impacts (e.g., degraded mission capability) 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior roles like Cybersecurity Analyst, Risk Analyst, Information Assurance Analyst, or System Security Analyst 

  • GSEC, CISM, or CASP  

  • An applicable ABET accredited degree or equivalent training can substitute for the 8140-cert requirement

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
