Position Summary:
The Threat Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the identification, assessment and mitigation of both internal and external threats directed at company employees, executives, talent, and corporate assets. This role plays a critical function in identifying potential risks, analyzing threats, and coordinating mitigation strategies in collaboration with security, legal, HR, and law enforcement partners. The Analyst will also support the Workplace Violence Program and ensure a proactive, intelligence-driven approach to threat management.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, assess, and investigate threats against employees, executives, and talent, including workplace violence threats, online harassment, and external risks.
Conduct behavioral threat assessments and provide intelligence analysis to assess credibility, intent, and potential impact.
Conduct emotionally attuned fact finding and safety planning interviews with both individuals of concern and impacted parties
Support the management and resolution of Workplace Violence cases, ensuring a structured and thorough investigative process.
Utilize OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence), forensic analysis, and investigative tools to track, analyze, and document threats. Gather and analyze intelligence from internal and external sources to anticipate potential security concerns.
Support response protocols for active threats, workplace violence incidents, and security escalations.
Coordinate closely with security, legal, HR, and external law enforcement to develop action plans and de-escalation strategies.
Maintain detailed records of threats, incidents, investigations and persons of interest in case management systems.
Assist in developing and implementing workplace violence prevention strategies aligned with industry best practices.
Conduct risk assessments for employees, executives, and talent who may be targets of threats.
Support protective security planning for high-risk employees, events, and public appearances.
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on identifying and reporting threats.
Work cross-functionally with security, HR, legal, and crisis management teams to ensure a coordinated approach to threat mitigation.
Liaise with law enforcement, private investigators, and external security partners on active investigations.
Stay informed on emerging threat trends, workplace violence cases, and best practices in security investigations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Security Management, Mental or Behavioral Health, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in threat management, investigations, corporate security, law enforcement, or a related field.
Experience conducting threat assessments, investigations, and security risk analysis.
Experience in crisis intervention or crisis response.
Familiarity with Workplace Violence program requirements and behavioral threat assessment models.
Strong analytical, research, and investigative skills, including OSINT and digital forensic capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to convey complex security findings to non-security stakeholders.
Experience working with case management systems and security intelligence platforms.

Ability to respond to security incidents with sound judgment.
Proficiency in intelligence gathering, forensic analysis, and investigative methods.
Strong ability to work with internal teams and external agencies.
Ability to engage with and brief senior leadership/ internal stakeholders with confidence, clarity, and expertise.
Ability to handle sensitive investigations with professionalism and integrity.
Additional Information:
This role may require on-call availability to respond to active threats or urgent investigations.
Occasional travel may be required to support investigations, high-profile events, or security planning efforts.
Must be able to pass a background check and security clearance process if required.
Location: This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days on-site in our Los Angeles, CA office.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $80,000 - $100,000 in Los Angeles. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
