About the role

Join the Partner Solutions (PSI) team as a Security Analyst I – Cyber Threat Monitoring and Response!

What you'll do here: 

  • Perform first-level triage by analyzing, processing, and resolving security alerts using various monitoring tools, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).

  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve cybersecurity incidents.

  • Participate in the cybersecurity incident lifecycle, from preparation to post-mortem.

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of incident response documentation.

  • Participate in the 24/7 support rotation (on-call) in collaboration with other team members.

  • Engage in security-related projects or initiatives in collaboration with relevant units, as needed.

  • Stay informed about current events, techniques, and trends in information security.

  • Promote the importance of security within the company.

  • Be willing to learn new technologies.

What you bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or any combination of education and equivalent experience.

  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or within an incident response team, in information technology, or in the field of information security.

  • Excellent understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, and information technology, preferably focused on security incident management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and structured approach.

  • Good sense of initiative.

  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to learn.

  • Demonstrated commitment to training, self-learning, and maintaining technical skills in cybersecurity.

  • Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country. 

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
