Job Summary

KBR is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Systems Security Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Engineering Directorate (AFLCMC/EZ) by enhancing the cyber resiliency of Air Force weapon systems and maintaining the SSE Cyber Guidebook. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, experienced in identifying critical System Security Engineering (SSE) issues, and committed to success against advanced cyber threats. You'll collaborate with the Cyber Resiliency Support Team (CRST) and the Aircraft Cyber Technical Working Group (ACTWG) to integrate SSE best practices into systems engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical inputs, evaluate and assess subsystem and system specifications and technical documentation for weapon systems and payloads.
• Develop reports and briefings, plan and participate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, FCA, PCA).
• Update and enhance SSECG content, aligning software development with the DoDI 5000.02 Adaptive Acquisition Framework.
• Research and update SSECG usability with topics such as blockchain and AI.
• Conduct hardware and software assurance assessments.

• Location: On-site
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
• Working Hours: Standard

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Strong understanding of system security engineering principles, adaptive acquisition frameworks, and digital engineering campaigns.
• DoD 8570-1M (IAM Level I) certification with Security+.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.

Desired Qualification :

• Master’s degree in a related field.
