Job Description:

HYBRID Test Automation Engineers

Do you like breaking things? Do you like breaking things quickly, repeatable, and automated? We are seeking versatile and motivated Test Automation Engineers to join our Cyber Warfare and Special Programs and Systems teams. The role focuses on designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of software, firmware, and integrated hardware systems. You will be creating and maintaining test scripts, test frameworks, and automation tools to streamline the quality assurance process and catch issues early in the development lifecycle. Note: Yes, this is a HYBRID position!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with development teams to understand the code, identify potential areas for automation, and resolve any issues that arise during testing
• Designing and developing test cases
• Writing and maintaining test scripts
• Creating and optimizing test frameworks
• Executing manual and automated tests
• Analyzing test results and reporting defects
• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in test automation tools and techniques.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of related professional experience
• Active Top Secret clearance
• Proficient in Linux and virtualized environments
• Strong Understanding of Software Testing Principles: Familiarity with various testing methodologies and techniques (e.g., manual, regression, performance, integration).
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) to write test scripts and frameworks.
• Experience with Test Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, etc.
• Knowledge of Test Automation Frameworks: Understanding of different frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Robot Framework).
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and diagnose software issues, as well as analyze test results.
• Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with developers, other testers, and stakeholders

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, ORMs, RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with red teaming, pen testing, or related fields

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
