As a part of Walmart Global Tech, you'll build industry defining reusable customer and partner facing services and products to lead differentiated experiences and revenue. You will be in the unique position to be of service to both our customers (1P as well as 3P) and our associates as a member of this organization supporting all segments of Walmart. Team and Position Summary:

Our team works closely with our US stores and Walmart Health and Wellness business to better serve customers by empowering team members, pharmacies, and clinics with technological innovation. From pharmacies and clinics to mobile features, Walmart Health and Wellness offers an extensive selection that our customers and patients value, whether they meet with their clinicians online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store.

What you'll do:

• Develop features with the highest level of quality by thinking of all the ways that the feature can be broken, with resiliency plans and fail-safe mechanisms in place Managing Functional Partnerships Requires knowledge of Stakeholder identification and mapping Stakeholder analysis Stakeholder communication Stakeholder engagement techniques

• Work closely with our Front End Engineering, and Back End Engineering teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect FE System to BE

• Collaborate with leads and architects during implementation and constantly set a high goal for the betterment of the product as well as a path for career growth What you'll bring: We are looking for a skilled backend developer experienced in Kotlin and Java, with a strong background in building APIs using Ktor and GraphQL (graphql-kotlin). Knowledge of Retrofit for API communication is essential. You'll work on scalable backend services and integrations in a cloud-friendly environment.

• At least 4 years of corporate work experience in API Development

• Extensive understanding of Android framework components and their respective lifecycles combined with a solid knowledge of multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning

• Solid programming experience with Java and Kotlin.

• Experience in developing APIs and backend services using Ktor and Spring Boot.

• Proficient with GraphQL and the graphql-kotlin library

• Experience using Retrofit for API integration.

• Knowledge of Gradle for build and dependency management.

• Strong understanding of RESTful services, microservices, and asynchronous programming.

• Expert-level knowledge of git and continuous integration

• Experience in working for large corporations • Experience in working for retail Industry
