CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity SME to join our team supporting U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award.  

 

The ideal candidate has advanced proficiency in providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations for the delineation and classification of Mission-Ready Terrain-Cyber (MRT-C), Key Terrain-Cyber (KT-C), and the multifaceted cyber domains encompassing Blue (friendly), Red (adversarial), and Gray (contested/neutral) spaces.  

 

Leveraging a comprehensive understanding of DoDD 3020.45 (Mission Assurance Construct), the individual will be required to apply sophisticated analytical methodologies to identify, prioritize, and manage risks to critical capabilities within the cyber landscape.  

 

This entails employing advanced risk assessment frameworks, conducting in-depth analysis of cyber terrain interdependencies, and synthesizing complex data sets to formulate actionable intelligence for senior leadership. The role demands a nuanced grasp of cyber-physical systems integration, threat vector analysis, and the ability to translate abstract cyber concepts into concrete operational parameters that align with overarching mission assurance objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  •  Conduct in-depth analysis of military DoDIN policies, guidelines, and regulations 
  • Provide expertise and recommendations on military policies and best practices 

  • Interpret and advise on DoD policies, regulations, and directives 

  • Coordinate integration policies across CCMD military branches and partners 

  • Lead periodic reviews of existing policies and procedures 

  • Develop and deliver training materials on policy changes and compliance 

  • May supervise others 

 

Required Qualifications: 

 

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience  
  • Extensive experience in military policy analysis and implementation, with expert knowledge of DoD policies, regulations, and directives 

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX) 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

 

  • Master's degree (MA/MS) and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX) 

  • Familiar with Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) tools such as ACAS/Tenable, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, such as Splunk and QRadar, Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,800-$191,000
