The Role

Raytheon are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare. You will join the experienced delivery team working:

• On the development, deployment and support of a Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare System to the ADF consisting of complex hardware and software solutions.
• As a member of a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled professionals.
• Based at our cutting-edge Centre for Joint Integration in Mawson Lakes, Adelaide.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• At least two years of experience in Design Definition, Design Development or Integration and Verification in one or more of the following engineering fields: Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Communication, Software and/or Combat/RF Systems.
• High level of computer literacy coupled with strong Microsoft Office application skills essential.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills essential.
• Exposure to Systems Engineering processes and tools (e.g. DOORS) is desirable.
• Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, including the use of modelling tools (e.g. Cameo) is desirable
• Experience in a Defence related industry is desirable.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV -1 - eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
