We are currently looking for a Team Lead – IT Compliance & Authorisation to join us in Mexico. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

 

 

Main Purpose

 

The Compliance Team Lead manages a team of authorization specialists responsible for granting and revoking access to SAP and financial systems, ensuring compliance with policies and preventing segregation of duties (SoD) violations. They oversee team performance, coordinate workloads, support team development, and ensure KPI achievement. The role also leads compliance improvement, standardization, and centralization initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders and external consultants. Additionally, they handle escalations, conduct gap analyses, and drive process enhancements to optimize and align current compliance procedures with the objectives set by the Financial Compliance Team.

 

Key Areas of Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, mentor and manage the IT Compliance and SAP authorization team, fostering high performance and collaborative culture.
  • Provide technical and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Support business and coordinate IT and compliance projects related to access rights management process.
  • Ensure compliance and resolving Segregation of Duties (SOD) conflicts within SAP systems.
  • Monitor SAP access management process, including user access provisioning role assignments and system audits.
  • Works closely with business units, Orbia Global Compliance Team, and IT teams to implement SOD rules and remediation plans, ensuring adherence to best practices for SAP security and GRC.
  • Coordinate periodic access controls and annual access reviews.
  • Lead and support Global IT compliance and authorization initiatives and projects.
  • Drive standardization and harmonization of authorization and compliance processes across the organization.
  • Cooperation with internal and external auditors on access rights management audit procedures (research and responding to sampling requests from auditors, proposing remediation, reviewing audit reports).

 

Requirements

 

2 + years of experience in SSC/ BPO environment

  • 3+ years Team leadership experience in a global environment or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP-related roles (systems implementation, IT operations, information security, data management, etc.) or compliance areas (internal audit, IT audit, regulations, governance)
  • Management skills and experience leading teams.
  • Communication skills - both written and oral.
  • Understanding of SAP authorization concept within SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori and Sap security knowledge.
  • Understanding of SOD concepts and mitigation controls.
  • Understands various compliance requirements that impact security and provide solutions to address them.
  • At least advanced understanding of business processes where SoD risks appear.
  • Risk based approach.
  • Strong service thinking skills and service orientation.
  • Team player but also able to work independently.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work udder time-pressure.
  • Experience with SoD, SOX and audit best practices.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, 5-10%.
  • English (Advanced)
