Your future role within QRT

As an IAM Specialist at Qube Research & Technologies (QRT), you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the company’s identity and access management capabilities. You will work alongside the IAM Lead and other security stakeholders to implement and maintain secure, efficient, and compliant access control mechanisms across our systems, applications, and data environments. This role requires a detail-oriented mindset, technical acumen, and a strong foundation in IAM technologies and practices.

  • IAM System Design and Implementation
    • Design and deploy IAM solutions including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
    • Integrate IAM systems with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party services.
    • Develop and maintain identity federation and directory synchronization solutions.
    • Support the maintenance and enhancement of identity directories and identity federation services.
  • Access Control Implementation
    • Administer access controls based on least privilege and role-based access control (RBAC).
    • Work closely with system owners and application teams to define and enforce access policies.
    • Support the deployment and configuration of authentication mechanisms such as MFA and SSO.
    • Remediate and maintain Active Directory (AD) groups to ensure accurate role assignments.
    • Collaborate with IT and system owners to manage AD group structures in alignment with RBAC policies.
  • Access Reviews and Compliance
    • Assist in the execution of periodic access reviews and certifications.
    • Maintain documentation and evidence in support of internal and external compliance audits.
    • Ensure access controls align with policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • IAM Tool Management
    • Develop scripts and automation tools for user account management and access provisioning.
    • Participate in the integration of IAM systems with cloud and on-premises applications.
    • Contribute to automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
    • Support the management and monitoring of privileged accounts and credentials.
    • Assist in the deployment and operation of PAM tools and technologies (e.g., CyberArk).
    • Ensure PAM practices align with organizational policies and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with system administrators to enforce privileged access policies.
    • Contribute to audits and reviews of privileged account usage and access control effectiveness
  • Security Incident Support
    • Collaborate with incident response teams on identity-related security investigations.
    • Monitor IAM-related alerts and follow up on anomalies and access violations.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up to date with developments in IAM technologies, threats, and best practices.
    • Provide feedback and recommendations for enhancing IAM strategy and policies.
    • Participate in the implementation of IAM program initiatives and roadmap activities.

Your present skillset

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM or related security domain.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM technologies (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of RBAC, authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and directory services.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for working across IT, security, and business teams.
