The Opportunity

Be part of an organisation delivering nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for future generations.

Join  us as a Senior Manager, Cyber & Identity Operations and play a key role in safeguarding our systems and data. You'll lead the management and development of cyber operations and identity platforms, including incident response, access management, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.

This role focuses on standardising services, driving continuous improvement, and maximising value from our security platforms. You'll own and operate existing systems while advising on future solutions aligned with Transgrid’s strategic goals—collaborating closely with teams across the Technology function. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess some or all of the following:

• A strong technical background in on-premises and cloud environments and experience in handling incident in a complex technical environment.
• A background in sysadmin, incident response, security testing or scripting highly desired.
• Experience in development, execution and support of solutions utilizing Federation Services, primarily Azure AD.
• Extensive technical knowledge and experience in the development, implementation, and management of cloud services, specifically Identity Services.
• Demonstrates an understanding of authentication protocols with hands-on implementation with SAML, OAuth, MFA, OpenID and Kerberos and proficient understanding of Directory Services (Active Directory, LDAP)
• Experience in handling Production Support incidents and analysing and debugging production issues and familiarity with Monitoring and Alerts for failure
• ITIL Certification v3 or 4.
