Ampsight is seeking a Cyber Solutions Training Specialist is responsible for developing, delivering, and managing comprehensive training programs focused on cybersecurity tools, technologies, and processes. This role ensures that employees, clients, and stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively utilize cyber solutions in safeguarding digital assets and systems. By translating complex cybersecurity concepts into accessible learning experiences, the specialist plays a critical role in strengthening organizational resilience against evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Training Materials: Create manuals, online courses, workshops, and documentation for cybersecurity tools and best practices.
  • Deliver Training: Conduct in-person or virtual training sessions for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Evaluate Effectiveness: Use assessments, feedback, and performance metrics to improve training programs.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and regulations to keep content current.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cybersecurity experts, IT departments, and software vendors to understand tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with course development in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, canvas, Blackboard)
  • Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEMs, firewalls, endpoint protection).
  • Strong communication and instructional design skills.
  • Certifactions like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) are often helpful but not required.
