IT/OT Cybersecurity Solution Architect
- Automotive Business

 

As the Lead IT/OT Cybersecurity Solution Architect, you'll shape and execute our security strategy within the CISO function, focusing on dynamic OT environments and IT/OT convergence. You'll manage, design, and implement global IT/OT security practices, mitigating risks in industrial and manufacturing settings. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on responsibilities, developing global security governance and protocols to protect our assets. As a trusted advisor to the CISO, you'll transform and equip our Automotive footprint with secure IT/OT solutions, enhancing our security posture for competitive advantage and customer trust.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the implementation of advanced security policies and strategies tailored to the unique needs of Automotive’s IT/OT environments, compliance frameworks like IEC62443 and regulatory customer requirements like TISAX
  • Architect secure technical solutions ex. IT/OT asset discovery, vulnerability management.
  • Include security requirements for IT/OT architectural decisions.
  • Integrate OT and IT security practices for a unified defence architecture.
  • Oversee OT discovery and monitoring solutions within central SOC capabilities.
  • Develop and regularly lead coordination with global group functions and regional/local teams
  • Represent security in various technical and operational forums
  • Develop and track relevant key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443, TISAX)
  • Champion training programs to elevate security awareness.


Qualifications

  • Expertise in Industrial and OT cybersecurity, including governance, cloud and IoT security, threat detection, network security, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience designing IT/OT cybersecurity solutions for complex manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record in planning, designing, and implementing cybersecurity controls in IT/OT environments.
  • Ability to analyse and improve ICS programs and systems to meet industry standards.
  • Knowledge of OT environments and platforms to enable IT/OT convergence
  • Skill in synthesizing technical content for senior business leaders to build and execute IT/OT cybersecurity strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; cross-functional team player and leader.
  • Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.
  • Relevant degree and industry certifications are highly regarded.

Some additional information

Location: For the right candidate, we are open to considering several EMEA locations within the Automotive Business scope, specifically Gothenburg (Sweden), Luton (UK), Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire (France), Schweinfurt (Germany), Houten, (Netherlands) or Airasca (Italy).
