We are looking for a Software Security Engineer to lead the implementation, operation, and maintenance of security infrastructure and tools critical to protecting internal and external systems across networks, applications, and corporate infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll design and enforce digital security protocols, operate cybersecurity systems, and uphold IT security standards across various environments. This position requires strong integration of knowledge in network security, identity and access management (IAM), DevSecOps, continuous monitoring, endpoint protection, zero-trust principles, and cloud security (multi-cloud/private). You will play a pivotal role in reviewing changes across systems to ensure risk is minimized and security remains uncompromised.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the architecture and design of security solutions in alignment with enterprise cybersecurity standards.
- Maintain quality control for security implementations, upgrades, configurations, and incident resolutions.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to monitor and enforce compliance with security baselines across tools and infrastructure.
- Recommend and justify policy or architecture changes that enhance security posture.
- Partner with development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices, including automated testing and CI/CD security tooling.
- Support hardening initiatives and remediation efforts for system vulnerabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Azure Security Engineer).
- 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
- At least one recognized security certification (e.g., CCNP Security, GIAC, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO standards, and VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing).
- Familiarity with tools like BigFix, InTune, Imperva, Snort, Nessus/Nexpose, and related security technologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise-wide identity and access management solutions.
- Experience with Azure AD, SSO, MFA, identity federation, and automation.
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in documenting security policies, procedures, and best practices.
