IT Security Engineer

What you will do:

• Process and system development and optimization: Ability to implement efficient processes and incorporate software systems, as appropriate, in support of processes. Identify opportunities and execute to optimize existing processes over time.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to lead and work with IT, software development, development operations, technical support, and business operations to develop and execute processes.
• Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment: Ability to prioritize ongoing strategic and tactical work requests and responsibilities to ensure end goals are met.
• Ability to prioritize projects.
• This role will work with the IT Administrator, Information Security Director, Engineering, DevOps, and other departments to ensure objectives are met.
• ·This position does not have direct reports.
• · Perform any other related activities assigned by the reporting manager.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Mathematics
• Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH or CISM desired
• 5-8  years of experience in the cybersecurity industry
• Public Trust security or security-related clearance a plus
