Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director – Global Security Investigations. This role is critical in upholding the ethical integrity and culture of AT&T by safeguarding our brand, assets, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead a team dedicated to protecting the corporation’s financial interests, mitigating risks, and implementing innovative solutions in collaboration with all levels of management and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Supervise and develop teams supporting Asset Protection objectives across all areas of the corporation.
    • Influence decisions regarding hiring, disciplinary actions, promotions, performance management, and pay decisions for direct reports.
    • Establish operational guidelines, delegate assignments, and allocate resources to meet organizational goals.
  • Strategic Risk Mitigation:
    • Act as a principal corporate resource for resolving internal and external disputes that negatively impact the company.
    • Directly conduct complex investigations requiring data analysis and sound judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.
    • Provide recommendations and solutions for reducing liabilities and mitigating risks, including physical and cyber security measures.
  • Investigative Excellence:
    • Lead fact-based investigations, including multiple case assignments and real-time response to evolving incidents.
    • Conduct interviews with subjects, witnesses, and victims, and collaborate with law enforcement and external customers.
    • Analyze complex data, develop investigative theories, and present findings to stakeholders.
    • Manage investigations related to insider threats, fraud schemes, cybercrimes, policy violations, workplace violence, and other criminal activities.
  • Operational Expertise:
    • Develop and implement operational guidelines and procedures for investigative teams and business partners.
    • Provide immediate operational updates on significant events, including resource allocation and support needs.
    • Deliver technical and non-technical presentations to leadership, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Specialized Knowledge:
    • Perform hands-on digital forensics, critical infrastructure assessments, intelligence gathering, and training program development.
    • Oversee international traveler security, business continuity, security product testing, and strategic risk analysis.
  • Legal and Compliance:
    • Access highly confidential and proprietary information (government-issued security clearance may be required).
    • Provide testimony in legal proceedings, including civil and arbitration cases, and support recovery of corporate losses.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
    • Proven ability to lead investigations and teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Skills and Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of corporate policies, strategic initiatives, and risk mitigation practices.
    • Ability to analyze complex data and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure and evolving situations.
    • Experience with law enforcement collaboration, digital forensics, and physical/cyber security measures.
  • Availability: 24/7 availability for incident response and flexibility for limited domestic and international travel.

$143,800.00 - $215,800.00
